Be your own family historian!

This was my first ‘day in the life’ photo shoot for a lovely family in South London, who wanted their everyday lives documented by me….and it was back in 2014, can you believe it?! It was such a wonderful sunny winter day in their apartment, and shortly before they moved home. Some really lovely moments and memories were documented, which still stand the test of time. My style is classic and timeless, meaning your images will still be as valuable and beautiful in 10 years as they are today. These special day-in-the-life sessions are unique and tailor-made, so there isn’t a ‘package’ for them. Just get in touch with what you would like me to record…it could be a whole day, half a day or even a holiday in the UK. This particular session was even longer, as the Grandmother arrived in the afternoon….but that’s a story for another time…..

This mother was a yoga teacher, so she often did yoga at home with her little one. What would you do for your family’s day in the life session? Fill the time in your session with all your shared interests, hobbies and routines, and you’ll find that the time flies past and you’ll create some cool memories along the way! I added this session from ten years ago as I thought it would be a good way to show how lovely it is to have this kind of day in the life photography to look back on. It records not only you and your loved ones, but all of your surroundings and your home and locality at the time, which I think is a great way of recording your life for future generations…and for your future you too!
